Hello and welcome!
My name is Ms. Hardy, and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Miami-Dade College, and I’m proud to bring both passion and expertise into the classroom. In addition to my degree, I have earned endorsements in ESOL, Reading, and Birth–PreK education. I am also bilingual in Spanish and English, which helps me better connect with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
My teaching philosophy centers around the whole child. I believe that a child’s first school experience should be rooted in warmth, trust, and joy. In my classroom, I place strong emphasis on social-emotional development, early literacy and language, math and number sense, as well as fine and gross motor skills. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can explore, take risks, and grow at their own pace. I use play-based learning and developmentally appropriate practices to build a foundation for future academic success and a lifelong love of learning.
