Welcome to my Spanish Class!
My name is Flor Roque. I would like to take this opportunity to express how excited I am for this upcoming school year. I came from one Spanish-speaking country with great experiences, which is the reason why I love what I do. My passion for teaching encouraged me to share with my students my customs, lifestyle, language, and important information about our culture.
My main goal for this school year is for my students to reach higher levels of learning. What I am expecting from my classes is that all my students will be able to learn to introduce themselves, to talk about nationalities, holidays, vacations, places, sports, favorite foods, be able to express their ideas, concepts, and make simple/complex conversations and future plans.
I always try to teach to my students an important lesson that Albert Einstein once said,
“Never consider study as an obligation, but as an opportunity to penetrate the beautiful and wonderful world of knowledge”
